$500 Flat Fee for Preparing and Filing Your Divorce Papers (Petition or Response)
- Preparing and filing the Petition (if you’re the one starting the case).
- Preparing and filing the Response (if you’ve been served).
- Making sure all procedural deadlines and local rules are followed.
For document preparation related to Temporary Orders, Disclosures, and Settlement, our attorney’s fee is $300/hour.
(many other law offices charge $450–$500/hour)
- Asking the court for temporary orders about Spousal support (alimony)
- Exchanging settlement proposals and counter-proposals.
- Helping you prepare required financial disclosures (income, expenses, assets, debts).
- Requesting financial documents from the other side (bank records, tax returns, business records).
- Working with experts when needed (forensic accountants, business valuators, appraisers).
- Drafting Marital Settlement Agreements when the parties reach agreement.

David Yoon
David Yoon earned his B.A. in Economics from the University of California, San Diego (UCSD), giving him a strong foundation for analyzing financial disclosures, support calculations, and property division issues that frequently arise in family law cases.
David assists with drafting court forms and declarations, organizing financial records, and maintaining clear communication with clients so they know what to expect at each step. His current paralegal billing rate is $250 per hour.
David’s goal in every case is to be thorough, responsive, and organized, helping reduce stress for clients while keeping their matter moving efficiently toward resolution.
